Thanks for the links. We have travelled to Maui the past two summers and just love it there. It is the essence of Hawaii for us. Maui real estate is scarce but definitely now is the time to buy.

Kauai, the least traveled of the major Hawaiian islands. We’re the type of family that loves the road less traveled, and so that’s why we went there. We found a lovely place with few crowds.

I have traveled to Oahu, Maui and Kauai and found Kauai my favorite and Maui a close second. Probably because it just doesn’t seem so built up. When moving from the NE to Florida I consider Hawaii but was afraid family would have trouble affording to come to visit and choose Florida. Funny thing they all moved to Florida. So I wonder should I have just moved to Hawaii. What a great place to buy a home or a vacation property.
